The Housing Authority is very concerned for the safety and well-being of all our residents, employees and applicants.  As the recommendations for operating safely are updated and changed by the Governor, CDC and other authoritative sources, the Housing Authority will review all our current practices and procedures and adjust them accordingly.

During the pandemic the Housing Authority encourages all tenants and applicants to contact us by phone in lieu of coming into the office in person.  The Housing Authority also will send out prepaid self-addressed envelopes for use in mailing in monthly rent payments.  If you decide to stop by one of our offices please by advised of the following:

Under Georgia law, there is no liability for an injury or death of an individual entering these premises if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of contracting COVID-19.  You are assuming this risk by entering these premises.

HUD has allowed for certain statutory and regulatory waivers for our program.  We have attached a list of waivers we have adopted in accordance with Notice PIH 2020-13, Rev-1.  We do not believe that the waivers adopted will have any adverse effect on our residents at this time, but if you have any questions or concerns please contact us at 770-267-6591.
